A Baloch citizen was killed as a result of military gunfire in Shiraz. According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Tuesday, February 20 2024, during shooting by military forces at a passing vehicle in Shiraz county, a Baluchi citizen named Khodabakhsh Shahbakhsh, 32 years old, son of Vali Mohammad, from the Sarjangal area of ​​Korin Shouro district in Zahedan county, lost his life after being hit by several bullets.
Khodabakhsh was traveling to Shiraz in his personal vehicle with two of his relatives when they were shot by military forces near the city of Shiraz, resulting in his death due to the injuries sustained.
According to reports collected in 2023, direct shootings by military forces have killed and injured at least 120 Baloch citizens. Among these cases, 80 people lost their lives, and 40 were injured, including 9 children and 3 women.
