According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on the night of February 25, 2024, a Baloch citizen from Western Balochistan and a critic of the Islamic Republic of Iran was assassinated by unidentified armed individuals in the city of Karachi.

The identity of this Baloch citizen, Haji Ayoub Ghoramzehi (Sarbaazi), approximately 45 years old, son of Molavi Abdul Qader, originally from Nasirabad village in Sarbaz County and residing in the Malir area of Karachi, has been mentioned.

According to the report, Ayoub, along with his wife and young daughter, was targeted by two motorcycle riders while returning home, and he lost his life due to multiple gunshot wounds.

It is worth mentioning that Ayoub, who had previously resided in the United Arab Emirates, began his political activities against the Islamic Republic of Iran since 2008.

It should be noted that in recent months, due to secret security agreements between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan, a significant number of fighters and political opponents of both governments have been assassinated on both sides of the border by security agencies. The two recent cases include the assassination of Wasim Badeeni in Saravan, Western Balochistan, and Ismail Shahbakhsh in Panjgur, Eastern Balochistan.
