The picture depicts the living conditions of the family of Mohammad Tariq Shahbakhsh, a 18-year-old Baloch youth who was the sole provider for his family and tragically lost his life due to a military shooting incident. It shows the harsh realities of their life in the village of Chah Zard, located in the vicinity of Zahedan, where they struggled with deprivation and poverty.

It’s worth mentioning that Tariq, after enduring five days of pain and suffering caused by being shot by military forces and a subsequent car accident on the Bam to Narmashir road, passed away while in a coma at a specialized hospital in Kerman.

The military forces had fired at his car’s tires without prior warning, leading to the vehicle’s overturning. They left the scene without addressing the situation after the car had flipped.

It should be noted that being a fuel transporting (Sokhtbari) is one of the few occupations that many Baloch citizens engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. However, this line of work often exposes them to dangers such as accidents, car overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces, putting their lives at risk.
