Fuel Carrier Fatally Crashes Amid Military Pursuit on khash Zahedan Route

According to the Balochistan Human Rights report, on the July 23th 2023 a Baloch fuel carrier lost his life in a devastating accident while being pursued by military forces on the Wash (Khash)-Dazap (Zahedan) route.

The deceased fuel carrier was identified as Ahmad Hermozi, a 32-year-old son of Allah Noor, married, with children, and a resident of Shirabad, Zahedan.

Following the pursuit by security forces on the Khash-Zahedan route, Ahmad’s vehicle encountered a severe crash near the Eskal Abad village. Tragically, he succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident. Despite the severity of his injuries, the military personnel neglected his condition and left him at the scene.

It’s worth noting that fuel carrying is among the few available occupations for many Baloch citizens in various parts of Balochistan due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. However, engaging in this profession exposes them to risks such as accidents, vehicle rollovers, and direct shootings from military and security forces, endangering their lives.

This heart-wrenching incident sheds light on the perilous circumstances faced by the Balochi community, emphasizing the need for attention to their safety and well-being.
