According to the Balochistan human rights on July 5, 2023, during a dispute over getting a turn in line at a bakery in Shastoon Square (Sarawan ), a Baloch citizen was killed by knife attacks. The identity of this Baloch citizen has been confirmed as Yasin Zangeshahi, a goldsmith worker from the Pahreh city (Iranshahr).
It is worth mentioning that the assailant was from Afghanistan and the murder was committed with knife strikes.
It should be noted that in all cities of Balochistan, due to the fact that the ration of subsidized flour is given to individuals with influence and government agents, other private bakeries have to bake less due to the lack of profitability and the high price of free flour. These conditions have caused citizens to wait for hours in long queues to obtain a few pieces of bread.
