According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Friday, June 14, 2024, security forces in Minab County directly fired at an empty Saipa vehicle without prior warning, resulting in the death of the driver.
The fuel carrier was identified as 37-year-old Fayzollah Ekhlasi, married and a resident of Tokehur Sarni, a district of Minab County.
The incident occurred around noon, and Minab County’s security forces shot from a distance at the empty Saipa vehicle without prior warning.
Fuel carrying is one of the few jobs many Baloch citizens in different parts of Balochistan are forced into due to the lack of suitable and stable employment, often facing dangers such as accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces.
