According to received reports, at least 18 Baloch citizens were executed by the Islamic Republic of Iran in April. These executions are often carried out as acts of reprisal or to instill fear among the people, indicating ongoing human rights violations in the region, especially in Balochistan.

Arbitrary and politically motivated executions not only violate fundamental human rights principles but also escalate tensions and undermine trust between the government and citizens.

International human rights organizations have consistently criticized these actions by the Islamic Republic of Iran and have called for the use of international mechanisms to halt this level of violence and human rights violations in Iran, in order to prevent further crimes and promote respect for human dignity.
