On the morning of Thursday,January 11th, the death sentence of at least one Baloch prisoner was carried out by the judicial authorities and officials at Yazd prison. The individual identified as “Nazam Dahmardeh,” 48 years old, son of Baz Mohammad, married with four children, and residing in the Shahrabad area of Zahedan city.
On Tuesday, he was transferred from the public ward to isolation and had his last meeting with his family. It is worth mentioning that in 2023, at least 184 Baloch prisoners were executed in 26 different cities across Iran, with Zahedan and Birjand prisons having the highest number of inhumane executions, 54 and 31 cases, respectively. Among these prisoners, at least four women were also executed.
