On the morning of July 30, 2023, officials at Zahedan Central Prison carried out the execution of a Baloch inmate, “Bidallah Gorgij,” aged 43, son of Agha Mohammad, married with two children, and a resident of Menzel Ab, Zahedan, without prior notification to his family or allowing them a final visit before the execution.
According to the report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, Bidallah was arrested in 2021 on charges related to drug offenses and was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.
The judicial authorities and prison officials in Zahedan executed Bidallah without informing his family, and today morning, they contacted the family, instructing them to visit the Legal Medicine Organization to receive the body of their deceased son.
