According to Baluchistan Human Rights Group, today, 08th of May 2023, the officials of Adelabad prison in Shiraz executed one Baloch prisoner.
The identity of this Baloch prisoner has been stated as “Younes Rigi Rakhshani”, born in 1987, son of Shahnoor, married with 6 children from Dezap (Zahedan).
Younes was arrested in Shiraz in 2018 for drug-related charges and sentenced to death in Shiraz Revolutionary Court. His wife died due to illness earlier and his children are now completely orphaned. Also, his family, had gone to Shiraz to meet him, unfortunately the judicial authorities of Adel Abad prison did not allow the family.
