According to Balochistan Human Rights Group report, Aladdin Boroujerdi, one of the former heads of the National Security Commission of the Iranian Parliament, warned in a letter to Maulvi Abdulhamid Ismailzahi, Imam of Makki mosque  Dezap (Zahedan) and wrote that he should learn from Hossein Ali Montazeri.

Maulvi Abdul Hamid has repeatedly asked the authorities of the Islamic Republic in his Friday prayers in recent months to listen to the protest of the people of Iran and stop suppressing and killing by recognizing their right to protest.

Hossein Ali Montazeri was one of the high-ranking clerics of the Islamic Republic who even reached the position of succeeding the leadership, but shortly before the death of Ruhollah Khomeini, he was removed from his position and was removed from the political scene of Iran. He was one of the few officials of the Islamic Republic who protested the widespread execution of political prisoners in the 80s.

Aladdin Boroujerdi called Mr. Montazeri’s objection to the killing of political prisoners as his “Bani-Israeli objections” to the government and considered his fate as “an instructive fact for those who want to learn”.

It should be mentioned that after the nationwide protests and Maulawi Abdul Hamid’s support for the people and his critical sermons against the government, the threats and insults of the people attributed to the government against him have intensified.
