According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Monday 23rd of January 2023, a Baloch prisoner who was supposed to be released from Pehra prison (Iranshahr) after posting bail, died suspiciously.
The identity of this prisoner has been stated as “Mirdost Sarfarazi”, 40 years old, the son of Shahdoost, a resident of Champ, Geh (Nikshahr).
According to this report, Mirdost was arrested in early 2021 at Naein police station in Isfahan province on charges related to drugs and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
This prisoner was transferred to Iranshahr prison about ten months ago and has no history of illness before shown.
