According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Thursday, January 05, 2023, the death sentence was issued for Mansour Dehmardeh, a Baloch citizen and physically disabled, who was arrested by the security forces in Zahedan on October 02 2022.

On Tuesday, January 03, 2023, Mansour Dehmardeh was sentenced to death by the Shahid Nouri court in Zahedan on the charge of “corruption on earth” and his death sentence was served to him in Zahedan prison.

Mansour Dehmardeh  son of Amanullah with a physical disability was born in 2000, single and apprentice bus driver, who was arrested on October 02, 2022 in Zahedan.

It should be notify  that he was subjected to severe torture in the intelligence detention center for 10 days, so that his teeth and nose were broken. He is currently in Ward (9) of Zahedan Central Prison, where he is not allowed to call or visit.

According to this report, Mansour told the judge in the court, “I only threw three stones and set fire to a tire” to which the judge replied, “Anyone who protests against Ali Khamenei’s government will be sentenced to death.”

It should be mentioned that after his death sentence was announced, they were given 20 days to his family to appeal  against the verdict.

Earlier, Shoaib Mirbalochzahi Rigi, an 18-year-old Baloch teenager and one of the detainees of the Zahedan protests, was sentenced to death.
