Two Baloch Teenagers Killed in Shooting by IRGC Forces in Border Area of Kalgan County
According to a report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Monday, April 13, 2026, two Baloch teenagers who had gone to graze their sheep near the village of Bonser in the border area of Kalgan County were targeted in a shooting by forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and lost their lives.
The identities of the two teenagers have been reported as Ali Sepahani, approximately 18 years old, son of Niroz, and Emran Sepahani, approximately 17 years old, son of Mohammad Noor. Both were residents of the border village of Bonser, located in Kalgan County.
According to the report, at around 7 a.m., the two teenagers had gone to the outskirts of the village in the Kalgan border area to graze their sheep when they were directly targeted by IRGC forces without prior warning. Emran Sepahani was struck by two bullets to the chest and died at the scene. Ali Sepahani, who was with him, was also injured by gunfire and left at the location.
Relatives of the two teenagers stated that Emran’s body was collected by military forces and transferred to the Kalgan border post. Ali, however, remained at the scene for several hours. Around noon, his relatives found him still alive and attempted to take him to the hospital, but he died on the way due to the severity of his injuries.
At the time of this report, no further information is available regarding the reason for the shooting by IRGC forces.
According to documented data compiled in 2025, direct shootings, raids on homes, explosions, and assaults on citizens by military and security forces in Balochistan have resulted in at least 173 people being affected. Of these, 107 lost their lives and 66 were injured, including women and children.
