Killing of a Baloch Worker in Qeshm by Unknown Individuals
According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, a Baloch citizen from Rask County who had traveled to Qeshm for labor work was killed by unknown individuals using a cold weapon and severe beating.
The identity of this Baloch worker has been confirmed by BHRG as “Mohammad Sharif Hasami,” 25 years old, son of Shafi Mohammad, and a resident of Pishin city in the suburbs of Rask County.
According to BHRG sources, Mohammad Sharif had no choice but to travel to Qeshm in search of work due to the lack of suitable and stable employment in Balochistan. He was severely beaten by unknown armed individuals using a cold weapon and succumbed to his severe injuries.
Sources added: Mohammad Sharif suffered from a condition that sometimes caused severe seizures, and on this trip, he had forgotten to bring his medications.
The identity and motive of the attackers of this Baloch worker are unknown as of the time of this report.
It is worth noting that, based on collected documentation, in 2024, at least 62 Baloch workers in Balochistan and other provinces of Iran were killed or injured due to various incidents, including lack of safety, road accidents, employer violence, and more.
