Killing of a Baloch citizen following a shooting by unknown armed men in Iranshahr County
According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on the evening of October 30, 2025, a Baloch citizen was killed after being shot by unknown armed men near the Iranshahr power plant.
The identity of the victim has been confirmed as Javad Siahani, son of Hassan, a resident of Ganjabad Abtar village and originally from Nagan village in Saravan County.
According to sources from the Balochistan Human Rights Group, he was attacked by armed individuals while returning from Delgan County to his place of residence and lost his life after being shot.
As of the time of this report, no information is available about the identity or motives of the attackers.
It is worth noting that, according to the Balochistan Human Rights Group’s 2024 annual report, at least 469 Baloch citizens were attacked by unknown armed individuals, of whom 284 were killed and 185 were injured. Among them were 47 women and children, including 17 children killed, 14 wounded, 9 women killed, and 7 others injured.
