Injury and Arrest of a Baloch Citizen Following a Military and Security Forces Raid on the Village of Jah-Mirk in Delgan
According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on the evening of Saturday, February 7, 2026 , security and law enforcement forces raided the village of Jah-Mirk in Delgan County and opened fire, resulting in the injury and subsequent arrest of a Baloch citizen.
According to received information, the identity of this Baloch citizen has been reported as , Younes Bameri son of Hossein, a resident of Jah-Mirk village.
The report states that around 19:00 , military and security forces raided the home of this citizen without presenting any judicial warrant or providing any specific reason. During the operation, the forces shot at him, as a result of which Younes Bameri was hit by a bullet in the leg. Despite being wounded, he was arrested and transferred to an unknown location.
The Balochistan Human Rights Group emphasizes that the use of live firearms during the arrest of citizens, raiding homes without legal authorization, and detaining injured individuals constitute clear violations of human rights, as well as violations of the right to life, personal security, and fair trial.
According to BHRG annual report 2025 , direct shootings, home raids, mine explosions, and beatings of citizens by military and security forces have affected at least 173 people in Balochistan. Of this number:
- 107 people lost their lives
- 66 people were injured
Among the deceased were 3 women and 1 child .
Among the injured were 16 women and 4 children .
