Execution of Two Baloch Prisoners in Shiraz and Kerman Prisons

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, at dawn on Wednesday, Azar 5 and Azar 9, 1404 (26 – November– 2025), the death sentences of two Baloch prisoners — who had been arrested in previous years on drug-related charges and sentenced to death during their judicial proceedings — were carried out in Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz and the Central Prison of Kerman, respectively.

The identity of the executed prisoner in Shiraz has been reported as Abdolrahman Nahtani, 50 years old, son of Abdolmajid, married and father of four children from Zahedan. The prisoner executed in Kerman has been identified as Mansour Jalali, married and father of three children from the Chahdehkal area of Narmashir County.

According to this report, Abdolrahman Nahtani was arrested in 2019 (1399) and, after going through judicial processes, was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court. Mansour Jalali was also arrested several years ago in Kerman Province, and his death sentence was likewise issued by the Revolutionary Court.

It should be noted that in 2024, at least 111 Baloch prisoners were executed in 23 different cities across Iran on various charges. Among them, 83 individuals were executed on drug-related charges, 25 on charges of “murder,” and the charges of 3 others remain unknown.
