Execution of Two Baloch Prisoners in Iranshahr and Zahedan Prisons

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, at dawn and early morning on Thursday, 10 Mehr 1404 (October 2, 2025), two death sentences of Baloch prisoners were carried out in the prisons of Iranshahr and Zahedan.
Details of the Execution in Iranshahr Prison:
The executed prisoner was identified as Mohammadreza Shiehki, 25 years old, son of Khan-Mohammad, from Masjed Abolfazl village, Bampour district, Iranshahr County. According to his relatives, Mohammadreza was arrested nine years ago following a family dispute and was sentenced to death (qisas) by the criminal court on murder charges. He was only 16 years old at the time of the alleged crime.
Details of the Execution in Zahedan Prison:
In Zahedan Central Prison, Saeed Barahui, approximately 20 years old, son of Mohammad Shamsuddin and a resident of Zahedan, was executed. He was arrested about one year and three months ago following a group altercation in Zahedan, during which one person was killed with a cold weapon, and Saeed himself was injured in the kidney with a cold weapon. The criminal court sentenced him to death (qisas). Saeed had previously been transferred to the quarantine section of Zahedan Prison for execution but was returned to the general ward.
In 2024, at least 111 Baloch prisoners have been executed in 23 different cities across Iran on various charges. Of these, 83 were executed on charges related to “drug offenses,” 25 on charges of “murder,” and the charges for 3 cases remain unspecified.
