According to a report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, in the early hours of Monday, June 2, 2024, the death sentence of a Baloch prisoner, who had been transferred to solitary confinement in Kahnuj Prison the previous day, was carried out by the authorities.
The executed prisoner was identified as Iman Sabqi, a 30-year-old man, son of Yahya, from Zahaklut.
Sources from the Balochistan Human Rights Group stated that Iman Sabqi had been arrested in 2021 on drug-related charges in Roodbar-e Jonub (South Roodbar) and was later sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in the same district.
