Execution of a Baloch Prisoner in Bam Prison After Five Years of Imprisonment

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, at dawn on Sunday, October 19, 2025, the death sentence of a Baloch prisoner who had previously been convicted of “murder” was carried out in Bam Prison.

The Balochistan Human Rights Group has identified the prisoner as Gholam Naeimi, 30 years old, from Rigan County.

According to the report, Mr. Naeimi was arrested in 2020, at the age of 25, by military forces on charges of “killing his fiancée” and was later sentenced to death by the criminal court.

It is worth noting that in 2024, at least 111 Baloch prisoners were executed in 23 different cities across Iran on various charges. Among them, 83 were executed for drug-related offenses, 25 for murder, and the charges in 3 cases remain unknown.
