Death of a Baloch Fuel Carrier Due to Beating by Pakistani Border Forces in Pasabandar Border

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Tuesday, September 30 , 2025 a Baloch fuel carrier died due to severe head injuries and bleeding caused by detention and beating by Pakistani border forces at the Pasabandar border in Chabahar.

The identity of this Baloch fuel carrier has been reported as “Wasim Dinarzehi,” son of Nabi-Bakhsh, from Gazmanzel village in the Dargas rural district of Bahukalat, Dashtyari County.

According to this report, Pakistani border forces detained Wasim in the Pasabandar border area and inflicted severe injuries to his head through intense beating. He was transferred to Jiwani Hospital in eastern Balochistan but succumbed to his injuries due to severe bleeding and trauma.

It is noteworthy that, based on collected reports from the beginning to the end of 2024, at least 479 fuel carriers have been killed or injured due to road accidents, shootings by military forces, attacks by unidentified armed individuals, landmine explosions, fires, and drownings, with 253 fatalities and 226 injuries among them.
