Baloch Worker Killed by Unknown Armed Men in Kerman

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, a Baloch citizen who had traveled to Kerman Province for work was killed about a week ago by unknown armed individuals using knives and batons.

The identity of the victim has been confirmed as Behrooz Dahmardeh, son of Lal Mohammad, a married man and resident of Chah Jamal village in Iranshahr.

According to sources from the Balochistan Human Rights Group, Behrooz Dahmardeh came from a low-income family and worked as a daily laborer in various cities to support his family. About ten days ago, he had traveled to Kerman for work, where he was attacked by unknown individuals and fatally beaten and stabbed. His funeral was held this morning in his hometown, Chah Jamal, Iranshahr.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the identity or motives of the perpetrators.

It is worth noting that, based on data collected in 2024, at least 62 Baloch workers across Balochistan and other provinces of Iran have been killed or injured due to various causes, including lack of workplace safety, road accidents, and employer violence.
