A Baloch Fuel carrier Killed During Military Clashes Between Iran, Israel, and the U.S. in Dashtiari County

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on the dawn of Saturday, March 7, 2026 (16 Esfand 1404), a Baloch fuel porter lost his life during military and drone clashes between Iran, Israel, and the United States in the Kolani River, located in Dashtiari County.

The identity of this Baloch fuel carrier has been reported as “Tayyib Baloch,” son of Mohammad Hassan, from the village of Ganz in the Jiwani district of Eastern Balochistan.

According to this report, a drone fired during the military confrontations between Iran, the United States, and Israel in the region crashed into a boat belonging to a fuel porter while he was traveling on the river. As a result of this incident, the Baloch citizen lost his life.

It is not yet clear exactly which of the conflicting parties the drone belonged to—whether it was Iranian, American, or Israeli—but local sources state that the crash occurred within the context of the aforementioned military clashes.

The body of the Baloch fuel carrier was buried yesterday afternoon in his birthplace.

It is worth noting that during the year 2025, at least 173 fuel carrier were killed and 132 others were injured. As a result of road accidents, 131 people died and 80 were injured. In actions taken by military forces—including shootings, mine explosions, high-speed chases, and physical assaults—37 people were killed and 44 were injured. Two individuals drowned as a result of fuel-carrying activities. Additionally, fire incidents led to the death of 1 person and the injury of 7 others, while shootings by unidentified gunmen resulted in 2 deaths and 1 injury. Furthermore, at least 211 fuel porters were arrested during that year.
