In the early hours of Sunday, November 17, 2024, the execution of a Baloch prisoner named Mohammad Bamari, also known as Dalaweez Mobaraki, was carried out in Kahnuj Prison. The 36-year-old was a resident of Char Chai village, located in the Zahkalut district, and had been convicted of murder.
It is reported that Dalaweez Mobaraki was arrested by security forces on charges of murder in Kahnuj. However, further details about his case remain unclear.
Statistics show that in 2023, at least 184 Baloch prisoners were executed across 26 cities in Iran. Among these, Zahedan Prison accounted for 54 executions, while Birjand Prison recorded 31 cases. Notably, at least four women were among those executed.
