On February 1, 2024, Chabahar municipal officials, accompanied by military forces (IRGC)launched an assault on Mirabad, Chabahar, demolishing residential homes of Baloch citizens without presenting a judicial order or prior warning. When faced with justified objections from residents, several individuals were detained for several hours. Throughout 2023, according to received reports, various security and governmental entities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have undertaken 21 instances of demolishing homes and confiscating lands, with Chabahar witnessing eight cases and Zahedan experiencing seven.
