Seven Baloch citizens were executed in a single day. The Balochistan Human Rights Group reported that on Monday , August 21, 2023, seven Baloch citizens were executed in various prisons including Zahedan, Kerman, and Kuhnuj. Six of them were charged with drug offenses (6 individuals) and one with murder (1 individual).

The identified individuals executed on this day are as follows:

  1. “Abdolsamad Khadem,” 29 years old, son of Khodadad, charged with drug offenses, Zahedan prison.
  2. “Ya’qub Ajbari,” son of Shirjan, charged with drug offenses, Zahedan prison.
  3. “Mohammadanur Barahui,” charged with drug offenses, Zahedan prison.
  4. Unidentified, family name “Ghannbarzehi,” charged with drug offenses, Zahedan prison.
  5. “Saeed Riggi,” son of Hamid, charged with drug offenses, Kerman prison.
  6. “Rasoul Naroui,” son of Gol Mohammad, charged with murder, Kuhnuj prison.
  7. Unidentified, both identity and charges, Zahedan prison.

It is worth noting that from April 29, 2023, to August 21, 2023, at least 86 Baloch prisoners, including four women, have been executed. Furthermore, from July 19, 2022, to August 21, 2023, at least 187 Baloch citizens have been executed in various prisons across the country. These statistics only include verified identities.
