According to Baluchistan Human Rights Group, on, Thursday, May 05th , 2023, the security and military forces raided Karimabad, Saadi, Pahlwani, Kausar and Shirabad areas of Zahedan and arrested a large number of Baloch citizens.
According to this report, at around 6:00 PM, the security forces raided the Karimabad area of ​​Zahedan and arrested at least 11 teenagers and youths with violence and severe assault.
It is said that the security and military forces entered the Karimabad area with seven cars with private license plates and a minibus with tinted glass at 6 o’clock and tried to arrest the innocent people who were not involve in any activity.
Some reports indicate that the security forces, upon seeing anyone, violently made them lie on the ground, blindfolded and handcuffed, and transferred them into a minibus.
There is no information about the identity and location of these detainees till now.
Some videos from the Karimabad area show that people defended themselves against the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran regime by using stones.
