According to Balochistan Human Rights Group Today, Friday, January 06th , 2023, Maulvi Abdul Hamid, the imam of Jumma Dezap (Zahedan) told the protesters about the government’s pressure: “Free the prisoners.” Do not give heavy sentences, especially to young people, children and women. Because it is useless.”
He added: “Today, if someone does not admit to his crime, they torture and beat him to admit to the crime.”
