According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, today, Monday, December 19, 2022, the Zahedan Revolutionary Court issued a sentence of 9 months imprisonment and 148 lashes for two detained Baloch girls.
The identity of these two Baloch girls has been stated as “Sara Baloch” and “Fateme Baloch Kari”.
These two Baloch girls were arrested by military forces in Chabahar on September 26, 2022 and were released on bail after 15 and 18 days.
According to this report, Sara was sentenced for 6 months in prison and 74 lashes and Fatemeh was sentenced for 3 months in prison and 74 lashes.
These two Baloch girls have been charged with “propaganda against the regime” and they are awaiting the verdict on the charge of “disrupting public order and security. These two detained girls have 20 days to protest against the verdict issued by the court so that their sentence can be appealed accordingly.
