According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, the death sentence of two Baloch prisoners who were previously sentenced to death for drug-related charges in the Central Prison of Dozap (Zahedan) and Nasrabad (Zabul) was executed.
The identity of these two Baloch prisoners has been stated as “Qassem Salarzahi”, 40 years old, Hashim’s son, married with three young children, and “Aziz Gargij” known as Baidullah, 25 years old from Zahak.
It is said that Qasim was arrested in 2018 on drug charges in Zahedan and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of Zahedan.
Also, Aziz was arrested in 2018 on drug charges in Zahak and was sentenced to death by the Zabul Revolutionary Court by Judge “Babaei”
The execution of these two Baloch prisoners was done without notifying their families and not having a last meeting with them accordingly.
