According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, the security agencies in Chabahar arrested a Baloch student on the charge of “leading the protests”.
The identity of this Baloch citizen is Alireza Raisi, 23 years old, son of Mohammad, a student of elementary education at Chabahar Azad University and a native of Sarbaz city.
It is said that this Baloch student was arrested by ununiformed security forces in Chabahar on December 5th, 2022, and after 8 days, he was charged with being a “leader in the protests”.
An informed source said: On Saturday, December 03rd 2022, the security forces took him to the court and his case is officially still pending.
This source added: This accusation was verbally told by the military forces to Mr. Raisi’srelatives and his family is waiting for the final court verdict. It should be noted that the announcement of this accusation has worried Alireza’s family about their child’s future.
