According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, today Sunday, December 4th,2022, Maulvi Fazlur Rahman Kohi was called to Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad and returned to prison again.

On 20th November2022, the imam of Peshamag village was sent on a 6-day leave and the judicial authorities announced the extension of his leave and his conditional release.

This Baloch cleric went on a hunger strike on November 16th, 2022, due to his refusal to agree to parole and the lifting of the ban on religious activities in Vakil Abad prison of Mashhad.

Following the hunger strike of this imprisoned cleric, many Baloch citizens started massive protests in different cities of Balochistan and he was sent on leave by the judicial system after 6 days of hunger strike.

It should be noted that Maulvi Fazlur Rahman Kohi was summoned to the Special Clergy Court in Mashhad on November,27th, 2019, after protesting the killing of protesters in November of the same year, and after about a year of indecision, he was sentenced to 6 years and four months in prison.
