According to Balochistan Human Rights Group (BHRG),, this morning, Monday, November 21, 2022, the forces of the intelligence department of Geh city (Nikshahr) arrested a university professor.
The identity of this Baloch citizen has been stated as Maulvi “Abd al-Aziz Arbabi”, a professor at Nikshahr Azad University and the imam of the old mosque of this city.
It is said that the security forces arrested him without any explanation and transferred him to an unknown place after the arrest.
Baloch social and political activists believe that despite the fact that during the recent protests, the citizens in Nikshahr city were not actively present in the protests, they are still being detained and harassed by the security agencies, so their silence may increase the pressure.
