He had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges.<br>\u200bThe prisoner has been identified as Habib Rakhmeshah (Notizehi), 52 years old, son of Nasruddin, married, father of five children, and a resident of Oraz Gol Fandaresk village in the suburbs of Gorgan.<br>\u200bAccording to the report, Habib was arrested in 2020 (1399) in Kordkuy County on drug-related charges and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Gorgan Revolutionary Court. On Tuesday, October 13 (21 Mehr), he was transferred to quarantine in preparation for his execution, and his family was asked to visit the prison for their final meeting.<br>\u200bBased on data collected throughout 2025, at least 137 executions of Baloch prisoners were recorded across 27 different prisons in Iran, with Zahedan Prison recording the highest number at 34 executions.
