According to reports published by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, at least 10 Baloch citizens, including three identified civilians and seven religious students, have been arrested by military and security forces in the counties of Qasr-e Qand, Sarbaz, Rask, and Khash. In several cases, families remain unaware of the detainees\u2019 whereabouts and condition.
On Friday, August 14, 2026 (23 Mordad 1405), military and security forces, using drones and dozens of military and security vehicles, raided residential homes in Koocho Bala village, Telang District, Qasr-e Qand County. During the operation, Faisal Baloch, 27, son of Jama (Jamal), a resident of Jagranoaro village, was arrested and transferred to an undisclosed location. According to sources, the operation began at approximately 4:30 a.m., following surveillance of at least two residential homes by drone. The forces reportedly surrounded the homes and entered without presenting a judicial warrant. Another Baloch citizen was also reportedly arrested in a small village in the same district, but his identity has not been disclosed.
On Monday, August 10, 2026 (19 Mordad 1405), Mohammad Saeed Arbabbi, 21, son of Mohammad Akram, a graduate of Farhangian University, was arrested by plainclothes security forces in Kalat, the administrative center of Sarbaz County. He was reportedly transferred to an undisclosed location. According to the report, the security forces did not present a judicial warrant or specify any charge or reason for his arrest. His family remains unaware of his whereabouts and condition.
Also, Farooq Dehghani, 34, son of Hayat and a resident of Hashemabad village in Rask County, was arrested on Friday, August 7, 2026 (16 Mordad 1405) while riding a motorcycle on the Rask\u2013Sarbaz road. According to sources, military forces stopped and arrested him, reportedly citing the existence of a \u201cprivate complainant.\u201d On Monday, August 10, he was transferred to the Rask Prosecutor\u2019s Office\/Court.
In another case, at least seven Baloch religious students from Manba al-Uloom Koh-e Van Religious School in Sarbaz County were arrested by the Khash Intelligence Department around Wednesday, July 22, 2026 (31 Tir 1405) in the Khash area. One of them has been identified as Khaled Rakhshani, son of Molavi Najib and a resident of Zahedan, while the identities of the other six students have not been disclosed.
The seven students were reportedly on leave and had traveled to the Khash area to observe the recent rainfall and flooding when they were arrested. By Sunday, August 2, 2026 (12 Mordad 1405), 13 days after their reported arrest, their families still had no information about their whereabouts, physical condition, or possible charges.
Overall, these reports indicate that between July 22 and August 14, 2026, at least 10 people were arrested in the Balochistan counties of Qasr-e Qand, Sarbaz, Rask, and Khash. However, the identity of one person arrested in Qasr-e Qand and six of the religious students arrested in Khash remains unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
