According to local sources, border guards opened fire on the group without issuing any prior warning. As a result, one of the farmers was struck in the head and died at the scene.<br>The victim has been identified as Abdolkarim Boun (Mohammadhasani), son of Abdolsamad, a resident of Pishin District in Rask County.<br>Sources said that farmers in the area are required to travel to their orchards at different hours of the day and night because irrigation water is distributed according to a scheduled rotation. Abdolkarim was reportedly returning from his orchard when he was shot.<br>His body has been transferred to the morgue in Rask County, and his family is completing the necessary legal procedures to recover his remains.<br>As of the time of publication, Iran&#8217;s Border Guard Command and other relevant authorities have not issued any official statement explaining the reason for the shooting or the circumstances surrounding the incident.<br>According to documentation collected for 2025, direct shootings, home raids, landmine explosions, and physical assaults by Iranian military and security forces affected at least 173 people across Balochistan. Of these, 107 people were killed and 66 were injured.
