Intelligence Agents Raid Home of a Baloch Citizen in Sib and Soran; House Damaged and Family Members Assaulted
According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, agents of Iran’s Intelligence Department raided the home of a Baloch citizen with the surname Pahang in Kont Rural District, Hidouch District, Sib and Soran County, without presenting a judicial warrant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agents reportedly forced their way into the house by breaking the windows, causing extensive damage to the building and household belongings. The raid was accompanied by violence against family members, resulting in a seizure suffered by the family’s child with a disability and the physical assault of another child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


According to sources close to the family, only the man’s wife and their two children were at home when the agents arrived. One of the children, who has a disability, reportedly suffered a seizure after being terrified by the violent forced entry. Another child was allegedly beaten by the agents during the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The report further states that after breaking the windows and entering the residence, the agents searched every part of the house, ransacked the family’s belongings, and caused significant damage to the property. Sources said that despite conducting a thorough search, the agents found nothing and left the premises after damaging the house and treating the family violently.
At the time of publication, no security or judicial authorities had provided any explanation regarding the reason for the raid, the legal basis for the operation, or any alleged charges against the Baloch citizen.
Raids on private homes without the presentation of a judicial warrant, particularly when accompanied by property destruction and violence against family members, have been repeatedly reported in Balochistan in recent years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
