A significant portion of those detained are Baloch citizens. These arrests occurred during public protests and were characterized by severe physical assault and degrading treatment. Families of the detainees remain in a state of total uncertainty regarding the status of their loved ones, as responsible authorities have failed to provide any clear information.

Based on accounts from several individuals who were recently released, at least 200 protesters were detained, with approximately 40 people held in each cell. Security forces subjected the detainees to verbal abuse, physical beatings, and humiliation, and reportedly issued death threats against them.

The detainees were held in extremely overcrowded rooms, where they could only sense the presence of others in adjacent cells—a factor that highlights the massive scale of the crackdown. Meanwhile, concerned families have gathered in front of security and judicial institutions, holding photos and identification details of their children to seek information, but no official has addressed their concerns.

Identified Detainees Include:

Omar Rakhshani (approx. 17 years old)

Abdul Majid Kharkouhi (approx. 21 years old)

Mahmoud Narouyi (approx. 25 years old)

Ali Gorgij (approx. 15 years old)

Hanzala Brahouyi

Amrollah Narouyi (approx. 18 years old)

Behnam Mohammadi

Iraj Soltani

Abdul Khaleq Samalzehi

Sanaullah Hassanzahi

Mohammad Gol Ghanbarzehi

Due to ongoing internet outages, the process of identifying the remaining detainees is still underway.

Furthermore, reports indicate that in recent days, Baloch citizens in the cities of Zahedan, Chabahar, Saravan, and Iranshahr have joined nationwide protests.
