The main topics of the conference were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The November 2019 (Aban 1398) massacre in the Nizar Ma\u2019shour district of Ahvaz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Systematic violations of human rights against non-Persian nations in Iran<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference addressed a wide range of issues, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The death penalty and executions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enforced disappearances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violations of the rights of national and ethnic communities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peaceful coexistence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Women\u2019s rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prevention of child marriage and child spouses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mutual respect among religious and political groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A central part of the program focused on the <em>Ma\u2019shour marshland massacre<\/em> of unarmed Arab civilians in November 2019. Prominent journalist and writer *Yousef Azizi Bani-Torof, a member of the Iranian Writers\u2019 Association and head of the Center to Combat Racism in Iran, delivered an in-depth analysis of the atrocity.
