The execution took place despite repeated protests and appeals by the prisoner\u2019s family in recent days, and without any response or review by judicial authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The identity of the executed prisoner has been confirmed as <em>Hamid Yousefzehi<\/em>, 38 years old, son of Mohammad Nabi, originally from Natbesin village in Nehbandan County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamid Yousefzehi was arrested in 2020 at a police checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Shiraz by security forces. After nearly four years in detention and trial, he was sentenced to death by the Shiraz Revolutionary Court on charges related to narcotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was transferred to solitary confinement on *Saturday, November 22, 2025, and his family was summoned for a final visit. The last meeting with his family took place on *<em>Monday, November 24, 2025<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noteworthy that throughout 2024, at least <em>111 Baloch prisoners<\/em> have been executed in 23 different cities across Iran on various charges.
