More than three days later, there is still no information regarding his fate or condition. This situation has caused severe concern for his family, as despite repeated follow-ups, no authority has taken responsibility for his arrest, and the judiciary has not provided any response.

The identity of the Baloch citizen has been confirmed as Yusef Salahzehi, 24 years old, son of Ezzatollah, and a resident of Abtar village in Iranshahr County. Yusef was arrested by security forces while passing through the market without any explanation or presentation of a judicial warrant and was forcibly transferred to a vehicle with physical assault. At the same time, his cousin, who was present at the scene and attempted to intervene, was also beaten and arrested by the forces. He was released after a few hours near the same market with threats. The security forces blindfolded both individuals and transferred them to a detention center, where their mobile phones were also inspected.

Yusef has no criminal record, and after three days, he has not been allowed to make contact. The detaining authority and the charges against him remain unknown to his family. It should be noted that the actions of the security forces, including arrest without a judicial warrant, physical assault, and forced transfer of this Baloch citizen, are in violation of Articles 22, 32, and 39 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Furthermore, the lack of information provided to the family about his whereabouts and the complete cutoff of communication with Yusef constitute a clear violation of Article 50 of the Executive Regulations of the Prison Organization and Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which emphasize the right of detainees to contact their families and the right of families to be informed about the status of the detained individual.

According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Saturday, November 3, 2024, a Baloch citizen was arrested by plainclothes forces near the Iranshahr market without a judicial warrant.
