The prisoner had previously been returned from quarantine to the general ward of Zahedan Central Prison after a one-month reprieve and was transferred back to solitary confinement on May 25 for execution. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The executed Baloch prisoner was identified as Zabihullah Sarani a 29-year-old married man with two children, son of Musa, and a resident of Adimi, a town in Nimruz County. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the report, Zabihullah was arrested on March 26, 2021, following a group altercation on charges of &#8220;murder&#8221; in Zabol. After being transferred to Taqzi Prison in Zabol, he was sentenced to death (qisas) December 2024 and moved to Zahedan Central Prison. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 10, 2025, he was transferred to quarantine for execution, and his family was summoned for a final visit.
