These mass executions were carried out without the minimum standards of fair trial, reflecting a grave and systematic violation of fundamental human rights, particularly the right to life and the right to due process.

The executions took place in the prisons of Mashhad (Vakilabad), Zahedan, Gonabad, Shahroud, Kerman, Bandar Abbas, and Iranshahr. The victims were overwhelmingly from marginalized communities in Balochistan and were often the sole providers for large, economically vulnerable families.

Available information indicates that the majority of those executed were denied access to independent legal counsel and were tried behind closed doors, in opaque judicial proceedings. In several cases, the families of those executed were not informed of the scheduled executions until after they had taken place, further compounding the trauma and injustice.

The names of the executed individuals are as follows:

Tuesday, April 8:

Abdulhakim Gorgij, Abdulrahman Gorgij, Taj Mohammad Khormali, Amir Ahmad Sanai Mazarehi

Wednesday, April 9:

Esmail Dahmardeh, Younes Kord Narouei, Gholamreza Pardakhteh Gorgij, Sajad Barahouei

Thursday, April 10:

Ehsan Bamari, Yasin Bamari

Saturday, April 12:

Bashir Ahmad Rigi Mohammadi, Majid Lejei, Ramin Alizahi, Davoud Baji Zehi Shahouzehi

Sunday, April 13:

Allahnazr Gorgij, Abdolsalam Baloch Meshkenti Ahourani, one unidentified individual

Monday, April 14:

Ali Dehani, Ali Baloch Zehi

Tuesday, April 15:

Ayoub Berniaei Sarhadi, Abubakr Shahbakhsh

This surge of executions—disproportionately targeting Baloch citizens—does not reflect the pursuit of justice. We demand independent investigations into the issuance and implementation of these death sentences, and accountability for those responsible for violating the basic rights of Baloch citizens.
