One of the car&#8217;s occupants returned fire with a handgun, injuring a military officer. As a result, the two occupants of the car, &#8220;Saleh Jamshidzehi&#8221; (23 years old) and &#8220;Mukhtar Jamshidzehi&#8221; (22 years old), from the village of Goonich, Khash County, were killed by gunfire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd38 The plainclothes security forces had ambushed these citizens and fired repeatedly at their vehicle without prior warning. It is likely that these citizens, thinking the security forces were robbers, returned fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd38 The police commander of Iranshahr County, Colonel &#8220;Mehdi Rashnoudi,&#8221; described the two Baloch citizens as &#8220;armed thugs&#8221; and reported that a military officer was injured in the exchange of fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd38 According to reports, in 2023, direct shootings by military forces resulted in at least 120 Baloch citizens being killed or injured.
