Behzad, in a video from his residence, explained that the officials demanded 30 million tomans (approx. $700) and, due to his inability to pay, they demolished the walls of his house. During the incident, his brother suffered a broken hand from protesting, and his mother experienced a heart attack. One local municipal officer threatened that they would return to complete the demolition if the payment was not made.
