{"id":1361,"date":"2022-12-05T21:15:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-05T21:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bhrg.info\/en\/?p=1361"},"modified":"2022-12-15T21:57:11","modified_gmt":"2022-12-15T21:57:11","slug":"arrest-and-torture-of-a-baloch-student-by-irgc-intelligence-agents-in-chabahar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bhrg.info\/en\/arrest-and-torture-of-a-baloch-student-by-irgc-intelligence-agents-in-chabahar\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest and torture of a Baloch student by IRGC intelligence agents in Chabahar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Saturday evening, December 03<sup>rd<\/sup>,2022, a Baloch student was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in Chabahar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bhrg.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Student-in-Chabahar.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1362\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The identity of this Baloch citizen is Shahab Rigi,&nbsp; son of Mahmoud and a student of&nbsp; engineering at Chabahar&nbsp; University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is said that Mr. Rigi was arrested in front of the University by IRGC intelligence officers and transferred to one of the detention centers of this institution in Chabahar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an informed source, &#8220;Mr. Rigi was beaten in the IRGC intelligence detention center and his right hand was broken.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He mentioned &nbsp;&#8220;Today, Monday, December 05<sup>th<\/sup> , Shahab&#8217;s trial was supposed to be held, but it was canceled without any reason or notification to his family.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the follow up of his family they announced his transfer to Zahedan and charged him as the leader of the protesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to one of the students, Shahab did not participate in the protests and only on October30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022, he stated the problems of the university and the demands of the students at the Azadi Tribune Azad(free flatform), which was held in the presence of the university officials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Saturday evening, December 03rd,2022, a Baloch student was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in Chabahar.
