Continued Detention and Lack of Information on the Status of Four Baloch Citizens in Balochistan and Mazandaran:Iran

In recent days, reports have emerged regarding the arrest of four Baloch citizens in the cities of Mehrestan, Qasr-e Qand, and Mazandaran province. Several days after their detention by security forces, their families remain completely unaware of their whereabouts and health status.

Arrests in Balochistan
In Mehrestan, Khodamorad Alborz-Nezhad (Abdalzehi), son of Mousa, was detained by plainclothes officers on the evening of Sunday, January 4. After following up with authorities in Mehrestan and Saravan, his family has received contradictory information, with officials eventually stating that he has been transferred to Zahedan.

In Qasr-e Qand, on Monday, January 5, a 22-year-old man named Abdolnaser Baloch-Qader, from the village of Karchan, was arrested by security forces while inside a shop and taken to an unknown location. He has had no contact with his family since the time of his arrest.

Baloch Workers Arrested in Mazandaran
Two other citizens who had traveled to Mazandaran province for work were also detained by security forces:

Abdolaziz Singaleh: A 22-year-old from Chabahar and a restaurant worker in Amol, he was arrested on Sunday, January 4. It is reported that his arrest followed the posting of a story on social media. His family has reportedly faced threats from security forces while inquiring about his situation.

Mahmoud Kashani: A 21-year-old from the Shirabad district of Zahedan who traveled to Mazandaran for work, he was arrested on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Eight days have passed since his arrest, and there is still no information regarding his fate.

As of the time of this report, there is no information regarding the reasons for these arrests, the charges filed, or the exact place of detention for these four citizens. The lack of information and the refusal of authorities to provide answers have caused severe concern for their families.
