Balochistan Human Rights Group (BHRG) is independent and non-profit human rights Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), that works on providing information to fill the gaps cause by the lack of independent media in Balochistan through investigation, effective communication and gathering reliable documents.
BHRG provides relevant, verified and up-to date information regarding the human rights situation in Western Balochistan.
- Execution of Baloch Prisoners
In August 2025, at least 13 Baloch prisoners were executed in different prisons across Iran. Their identities are as follows:
- Hasan Amousi (Ejbaari), 45 years old, son of Eid Mohammad, father of 8 children – executed in Vakilabad Prison, Mashhad.
- Davood Lajai, 36 years old, son of Nematollah – executed in Vakilabad Prison, Mashhad.
- Hesam Salari (Raeesi), 20 years old, son of Alireza – executed in Saravan Prison.
- Zaker Aramesh, 27 years old, son of Jan Mohammad – executed in Isfahan Prison.
- Bahman Shibak (Ejbaari), 35 years old, son of Pardel, father of a child – executed in Birjand Prison.
- Milad Narouei (Davoodi), 29 years old, son of Abdoljaleel – executed in Kerman Prison.
- Hafiz Siahkhani, 38 years old, son of Habib – executed in Iranshahr Prison.
- Mohammad Ali Lashari, 38 years old, son of Karim, father of 3 children – executed in Isfahan Prison.
- Ahmad Dahani, 30 years old, son of Mohammad Karim – executed in Zahedan Prison.
- Assef Rakhshani, 28 years old, son of Aref Khan, father of 8 children – executed in Birjand Prison.
- Hamed Barahouei (Bajizahi), 25 years old, son of Nematollah – executed in Zahedan Prison.
- Extrajudicial Killings & Enforced Disappearances / Shootings by Unidentified Armed Groups
At least 17 civilians were killed, 3 abducted, and 14 injured in separate incidents across Balochistan during August
2025.
- Shootings by State Forces
At least 13 civilians were killed and 1 injured in indiscriminate shootings by military and security forces.
- Attacks on Fuel Carriers (Suftbaran)
At least 14 Baloch fuel carriers were killed and 19 others injured in shootings and attacks on their vehicles near the border areas in August 2025.
- Suicides
During August 2025, 3 cases of suicide among Baloch civilians were documented by BHRG, reflecting the growing mental health crisis and social pressures in the region.
- Final Note
The Balochistan Human Rights Group (BHRG) expresses grave concern over the continued executions, indiscriminate shootings, attacks on fuel carriers, enforced disappearances, and rising cases of suicide in Balochistan. These incidents highlight systemic violations of basic human rights, particularly against ethnic Baloch communities.
BHRG once again calls on the international community, human rights defenders, and advocacy organizations to urgently intervene, pressure the Iranian authorities to stop extrajudicial killings and executions, and ensure accountability for ongoing crimes against humanity.
