
According to a report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on June 1, 2024, two Baloch fuel carriers, including a 15-year-old teenager, were directly targeted by gunfire from Pakistani army forces in the border region of Raja, near the country’s border. The teenage fuel carrier was killed by gunshot wounds, while another individual was injured.
The deceased teenage fuel carrier has been identified as Muhammad Taha Roshanzahi (Shahnawazi), 15, son of Nazar. The injured fuel carrier is Jasim Roshanzahi (Shahnawazi), approximately 26, son of Hussain and uncle of Muhammad Taha. Both were residents of Granchin village in Khash County.
The report states that around 1:00 PM, the vehicle carrying the two fuel carriers—an uncle and his teenage nephew—had crossed the border from Rotak, Mirjaveh, into Pakistan when they were repeatedly shot at by the Pakistani army forces in the Raja border region. Muhammad Taha was struck by multiple bullets in the chest and head, resulting in his death, while his uncle was injured by shrapnel from a bullet hitting his hand.
